Tari Menney-Amgbare

With a colossal interest in experimental painting, Menney-Amgbare uses vivid, piercing colours to capture his figures; an exaggeration of the light which defines our way of understanding images. His works are an attempt to summon viewers' consciousness to the fluidity of hue without the constraints of reality and the traditional art media. His subjects include popular icons, as well as people not in the public eye. The idea of enlarging the field of painting, and the endless curiosity of colours' possibilities are his greatest influences.
